TORRENCE
FULL SERVICE ARCHITECTURE & CONSTRUCTION
FEBRUARY 2011
When the owners went looking for a new house for their expanding family they came across their house and realized it was "home". Located in the Linda Vista area of Pasadena, just above the Rose Bowl, the family needed to make renovations. Torrence Architects started the design by listing the needs for the growing family and then quickly translated them into plans. The goal was to redesign the house to take advantage of the existing layout and incorporate entertaining for their large family gatherings.
Situated among full grown California Oak trees, the site plan carefully weaves new landscaping, a separate garage, pool and spa, and outdoor enteraining lawns and patios.
The house incorporates some of the latest home control technologies available, including energy saving lighting controls and ultra high efficiency climate control systems.
